Well now the technical side of the civilized world will get to determine if I am a fit parent. I had a child living here who was a "neice " by friendship, I think we all have one , kindof like a psudo family member but not... anyway her mom was having a real hard time with her , the child was failing in school and had just stabbed a fellow student 3x with a pencil, so she came here to live, that was over a year ago back in Dec. Her grades came up to 95% and she was held accountable for her behavior. Her smatrt mouth got washed out with soap, and she was required to treat others with respect and kindness or she could run, she could bring home all her homework assignments and graded papers or she could do push ups. She had responnsibility in that she cared for the sheep and lambs and when due to her negligence one got killed, she was required to dig the hole for it. She was 12 , ... if she didnt feed her charges, she diidnt get supper, all rules that apply to the kids in my home mentally and physically capable of being responsible for an animal , or a small group of animals. depending... well this past Dec, she ran her mouth at the bus driver and got a "warning" Well, with this kid, cutting things off immediatly has always worked before, so when I got her note from school, she got in trouble, having to run 5 laps on the driveway that 5 laps ttls 1 tenth of a mile btw... and she lost all her designer clothing and accessories. well, this pissed her off, so she called DSS, (social services) who sent a worker out to my home, who has no exp raising ANY kids, and was SUPER condecending AND demeaning, the kid even admitted herr claims against me werer false, but the worker determined running, washing mouths out with soap or witholding supper, was excessive punishment. and bordered on abuse, so now I am being required to attend parenting classes and attend a psychological eval to determine why I have no remorse for my excessive punishment tactics, whats FUN is Im sick, and my appt is tomorrow.
the kid who made the alegations has since returned to her moms home and has 2x been admitted into the juvenile hall for aggression at teachers and after school care providers, throwing chairs and threatening therm with DSS too.. whats sad, is here, at the state fair last year she won 2nd place with the lamb she raised here, lambing has begun and last year she helped me save a few of them... she was so happy to help too... but now, my own kids help and are left dealing with her remnants of turmoil, and Im the bad guy... amazing...
